“I just need to see what’s going on out front. No recording, or continuous picture. Blink sound okay to use but see a 6’ power cord. Will no be able to plug into an electrical outlet. Work on batteries??”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Cognac, I would recommend the Blink Outdoor 4 for your use. It's a battery powered camera that comes with mounting hardware. It runs on 2 AA batteries which are also included in the box. The batteries it comes with are not rechargeable but can be easily replaced. I think that this would be a better option than the Mini 2. Battery life may vary depending on the settings on your camera as well as the climate you have the unit mounted in. I hope this helps!
