You can purchase the Sync Module 2 and an SD drive and then you don't need a cloud storage plan. It will save clips to the SD card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it will not work at all without subscription except for watching live video. The only way to store that is take a screen shot while watching. I just got done with my free trial and thought it would record and save on that $14 USB drive. Nope—you have to buy a subscription. Anyone want 5 useless cameras? I could make you a good deal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once my free plan (that I didn’t ask for) stopped, my cameras don’t record a thing. The only way I see anything is to press camera and watch it live. It will not save anything nor will it pick up someone walking right up to your door. I have the $14 USB drive but it stores nothing. The once an hour photo also does not do a thing without buying the plan. In a nutshell, it’s about worthless unless you buy a plan. I was lied to. Perhaps you could go to a local store and buy something that would help with home security. Blink misses that mark by far.

If you do neither you can still use the Blink Mini for live view and to receive notifications you would just not be able to record/save any clips.
