• Yes, I have them in several areas of my home and they are excellent at showing my children moving around in the house with the lights out. As far as animals outdoors, it will depend on how close to the camera they are. Sometimes all I see are eyes and cannot tell if it's a deer, dog, coyote, etc. Depends on how near the object is.

• The Blink Mini cameras do utilize IR night vision in low light or no light situations. There is a sensitivity setting on each camera that you can adjust as well to fine tune the system.
