All clips recorded, irrespective of a subscription or local storage being used, are able to be viewed on-the-go through the Blink application on a mobile device. If the SD card is removed from the Sync Module XR or it loses power, then you would not be able to utilize local storage whereas a cloud subscription is available 24/7 as it is not stored locally on the Sync Module.

The Blink Outdoor 4 XR camera system offers comprehensive smartphone access through the free Blink Home Monitor app, available for Android, Fire tablet, and iOS devices. Through the app, you can monitor your cameras remotely with features including live HD video streaming, motion-activated alerts and notifications, two-way audio communication to speak with visitors or potential intruders, and the ability to manage multiple camera systems within a single interface. The app also allows you to view recorded clips, customize motion detection zones, adjust camera settings, and control all six cameras from anywhere with an internet connection. Regarding the micro SD card access, the Sync Module XR (included with your 6-camera system) features a microSD card slot for local storage, allowing you to save video clips directly without requiring a subscription. However, you cannot browse the microSD card contents directly like a traditional file manager on your smartphone. Instead, all clips saved to the microSD card are accessed through the Blink app itself, which retrieves and displays the recordings for you to view. If you opt for a Blink Subscription Plan, you'll get unlimited cloud storage with 60-day video history, plus an automatic Clip Backup feature that saves a daily backup of your cloud clips to the local microSD card storage. Hope this helps and have a great day!
