• It only records for me when movement activates it and the more you record and use it or the more sensitive the motion detection the faster you’ll burn thru batteries. Also, when you try to set it to ignore an area, it still picks it up and as a results goes off constantly! It literally picks up cars 1/2 a block away faster than it does someone actually up on my porch!!

• It records from movement or doorbell. Also worth getting the cloud membership from amazon for 30 for a year
