The Blink doorbell uses the battery to power the device. The house wiring is only for the house chime, not power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most likely it’s not getting the correct voltage. Have you put a multimeter to the wires? Someone could have gotten something mixed up upon installation. Regular doorbells aren’t as sensitive to small voltage irregularities, or polarity reversal, as the camera is.
