• Hi FindsFeathers! The 1st Gen Blink Video Doorbell can be hard wired or run off of the two included Lithium Ion AA Batteries. When running on battery and connecting to WiFi, some of the features of the doorbell will only be accessible when it has recently been triggered by a button press or motion alert. The battery life will also be shorter than if it was connected to a Sync Module. I hope that answers your questions, have a great rest of your day!
