• Honestly it's like 2 screws to screw in the base plate and then it snaps in. A little more work if you want to wire it in instead of using batteries, but were 6+ months of use and the batteries are still good here. hope that helps!

• When I added it to my cart it offered professional install for $149! Yikes! I don’t own a power drill so I’m not trying to install but I found someone who will install for me, but not Best Buy!
