“What is the blink sync module used for is it just for syncing one to more cameras together? Or it suggested to have a sync module when you purchase blink xt 3rd generation cameras for the best results and functions”

I needed it to connect my Amazon Alexa Echo show. That way it announces when someone is at the front door or detects motion. I don’t have any other cameras but live in an apartment complex and feel safer! I can also ask my Echo Show to actually show me the front door so I can see if anyone is around even if they don’t ring the bell
