“Can this camera be mounted overhead or is wall mount only?”

• The earlier answer is wrong. The instructions explicitly state that the camera can be mounted on the wall or overhead. When mounting overhead, the directional arrow on the back of the mounting plate should be pointed toward the wall. You need about 1" clearance around a standard round mounting box to mount the camera.
