A:Answer The Blink cameras record 5 to 60 second video clips based on motion detection. These video clips are stored in our secure servers in the cloud not in the cameras accessible only via the Blink for Home APP on your IOS or Android mobile device. The cameras detect thermal motion, there is a sensitivity setting on each camera as well that can be adjusted. You are able to save your Blink video clips to your mobile device if you choose. The Blink System does have a scheduled arming feature that you can set up so that your Blink System will arm and disarm at specific times. The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions. Currently the Blink cameras have a sensitivity control but there is not a zone feature. You are able to adjust your camera settings, view video clips, receive notifications, and access live view through the App on your mobile device from anywhere as long as you have a wifi or cellular connection. This is important to note for your cellular data plan, watching a five second motion clip without WiFi connection will use about 750KB of your data plan.
