The Blink cameras cannot be used to face out a window. Blink’s PIR sensor cannot detect motion through glass, so a Blink or Blink XT camera positioned behind a window will not create clips when armed. However, it can be faced out a window, or through glass, for use with Live View.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine facing out my front window towards my front door and deck and as long as night vision is turned off and status light ect. So no lights to reflect on the window. As far as motion detection it works great even set on low any movement in or near my yard it picks up notifies me and records. One of the only things I like about this camera. Great motion detection. It does not have zones you can set g
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Prior to placing them outside I had them in the window and it did not pick up the motion.
