What is the max. distance these reach outdoors? null

The Blink cameras need to be within 100ft of the sync module in any direction to operate. As far as how far away they can be from your wireless router would depend on the strength of your internet/wifi, we recommend at least three bars of signal strength.

From my back yard down the street by 2 houses. Several feet. Coverage is excellent.

That depends on the max distance or range that you get a stable wifi signal.

I don't know and do not have answer for this. It is up to lighting of the surrounding. I can recognize my neighbor when he walks by at night, but i don't think it is good enough for facial recognition, unless you have light on and that person walks towards your camera.
