I suppose this may work if the camera had access to WIFI and could be within range of the sync module which needs to be plugged into a normal wall outlet at all times. They are 110/220V compatible. It is possible to plug the Sync Module into a USB but could be unreliable. Make sure your USB is at least 5W/1AMP or it will not power. However do note, The Blink cameras cannot be used to face out a window. Blink’s PIR sensor cannot detect motion through glass, so a Blink indoor or Blink XT/XT2 camera positioned behind a window will not create clips when armed. However, it can be faced out a window, or through glass, for use with Live View. The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera itself has to connect wireless to its base, so unless you were powering the base from your car and using a WiFi or HotSpot device to connect the base to, then you wouldn't be able to use it in your car. The camera has to be within range of the base in order to transmit the video captured to your smartphone. 1 camera does not do 360 degree coverage, more like almost 180 degree, but if you buy 2 cameras, you could mount them close to back to back and almost get 360 degree coverage.
