• A:Answer While the Blink System does integrate with the Amazon Alexa enabled devices, you do not need one of these devices to operate the Blink cameras. The Blink App is currently only compatible with iOS mobile devices running 10.3 or higher, Android mobile devices running version 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher and Fire OS mobile devices, running software version 5.1 or higher

• A:Answer The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions.

Q: QuestionCan this be mounted on a brick or stucco home?

• A:Answer The mounts that come in the box are plastic with two screws. If you trade out with matching appropriate fasteners you should be fine. For brick there is probably a masonry screw that would work. The cameras are very light so the fasteners will not have much pressure on them.

When launching the app on additional devices, please use the sign in option to access the account you created on your first Blink connected mobile device. You will not have to go through the setup process again. Please note you will not be able to use Live View from multiple devices at the same time.

• A:Answer I’d say the night vision is 5/10 assuming your outside is completely darks with no lights on. It does a decent job but nothing to brag about. If you keep front porch light on or something it obviously does a better job. If the camera caught someone breaking into your house at night i think the quality would be good enough to identify the thief

• A:Answer Yes. You can have a total of 10 cameras on one module before you have to add a second module. But there are advantages to having two modules. You can set different schedules for arming with 2 modules.

Q: QuestionThe front of my house is about 100 feet from the main road. I don’t really want live alerts every time a car drives by. Is there a distance that it doesn’t see? Should I just mount it so it doesn’t see the main road and only my driveway?

• A:Answer Unfortunately these cameras connect with WiFi and when you connect the cameras and camera modem to the device of your choice you have to be connected to the same WiFi. Now after set-up you can log into your BLINK viewing app on any device or any kind of internet connection, whether WiFi or your personal data.

• A:Answer With regular use*, your Blink XT2 cameras will last a very, very long time on a single set of 2 AA lithium batteries. This incredibly long battery life is made possible through a proprietary chip technology available only in Blink cameras. Here are a few things that may affect battery life: -Placing cameras in high traffic areas and leaving them armed all the time -Using Alkaline or rechargeable batteries. (We DO NOT recommend this) -Slow Internet connection speeds -Extreme Temperatures -Extended use of Live View -Weak Camera signal strength between sync module and WIFI router -DO NOT use AA Lithium Ion or Li-Ion batteries as these carry a higher voltage and may cause issues with your camera. - use of Enhanced mode on Blink XT/XT2 *Two AA lithium metal batteries last up to two years, based on typical use of Live View, motion-activated recording, and two-way talk (only available on XT2). Battery life will vary based on device settings, use, and environmental factors. Use of two-way talk will reduce battery life.
