Both local and cloud storage allow you to use your Blink app and cameras in the same way. The only difference is where your videos are saved.

Blink can be used with all the functions without cloud

You don’t need either one of those to use the app , see videos. It’s pretty easy. You can also set how many seconds you want your recording. Also the recordings stay there till you delete. But that’s interesting about cloud. I didn’t use this device in the cloud settings
