• We too live in a rural area with horrible internet service at the time of purchase it still worked fine! It can be slow on review, we have upgraded internet service and it is great, but do not see a big difference in the Blink it works pretty much the same.

• The great thing about Blink is that it does not continuously record like other cameras. The camera only turns on when it detects motion or you turn it on to watch Live View, helping to significantly reduce data usage. A five second motion clip with audio takes up 750KB.
