A:AnswerYou can only have one username/email address and password per account however, you can download our app to as many compatible iOS, Android and Amazon Fire devices as you’d like, so the entire household can receive alerts or check in at home. When launching the app on additional devices, please use the sign in option to access the account you created on your first Blink connected mobile device. You will not have to go through the setup process again. Please note you will not be able to use Live View from multiple devices at the same time.
A:AnswerYou are able to adjust your camera settings, view video clips, receive notifications, and access live view through the App on your mobile device from anywhere as long as you have a WIFI or cellular connection. This is important to note for your cellular data plan, watching a five second motion clip without WIFI connection will use about 750KB of your data plan.
A:AnswerNo. Camera will not be able to detect motion through glass. The motion detection relies on heat sensors that cannot be seen through glass. You will be able to take pictures and turn on "live view" but you will not get motion clips. I had my cameras inside the house for a while to test them out with our Wi Fi and I would only get motion clips RIGHT AFTER I had gone into "live view"... and it was only once.
A:AnswerThe Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions. The range of the motion sensor is up to 15-20ft depending on exact conditions.
You are able to add Blink cameras to your existing Blink System at anytime. You can have up to 10 Blink devices per sync module as long as they are all within the 100ft operating range of the sync module in any direction. The cameras on the sync module can be in any combination.
A:AnswerI have a blink system installed in Ensenada Mexico and works fine
All you need is a decent wifi
And add the cameras to your current blink account
A:AnswerYou are able to arm and disarm your Blink System or even individual cameras on your Blink System at anytime through the APP. You are also able to use the scheduled arming feature to have your Blink System arm and disarm on a set schedule as well if you like.
A:AnswerThe Blink XT2 is the next-generation of the XT and offers new and improved features such as two-way audio, customizable motion detection, double the battery usage, and live view recording.
A:AnswerYes, but different cameras don't sync with the control unit of the blink, I use a Bosma camera inside the home and 10 blink xt2 cameras outside the home. Alexa controls all of them but you will have to use the app for each to view them live.
A:AnswerYou are able to split up the cameras from a system purchase however in order to be able to use the XT2 cameras in separate locations with different wifi networks you would also need an additional sync module. The Blink XT2 5-camera system only ships with one sync module. You are able to set-up and access these separate systems from the same account by using our multi-system support feature.
A:AnswerYou are able to adjust the sensitivity on the camera at anytime within the camera settings in the APP, there is also an activity zone as well that you can set. The Activity Zones allow you to mask off certain regions to prevent excessive motion clips or false alerts. This feature is great if your cameras are outside and you have a tree or bush blowing in the wind triggering a motion clip.
A:AnswerNope I have a ring doorbell as well and use a separate app for it but I use Alexa show for both if needed and they work well together! Hope this helps. J.C.
A:AnswerThe Blink cameras themselves are battery operated however the sync module needed to operate the cameras would need to be plugged into a normal wall outlet at all times and within 100ft of the cameras. The sync module comes with a USB and correct power adapter. They are 110/220V compatible. It is also possible to plug the Sync Module into a USB but could be unreliable. Make sure your USB is at least 5W/1AMP or it will not power.
Do note: The USB port on the back of the camera can be used with a MicroUSB cable and power adapter (not included with your camera) to power your cameras rather than using batteries. However, the Blink XT2 feature a rubberized cover over the USB port. Removing this cover makes the camera no longer weatherproof.
A:Answeryou can have 10 cameras work off of one sync module as long as they are all within 100 feet operating range of the sync module in any direction. you can view all 10 cameras on your app after registering them. i am not aware of any security issues with the blink camera as i know there are issues with the ring systems and that is why i purchased the blink after doing research. hope this helps.

A:AnswerBlink’s server provides each Sync Module storage for up to 7,200 total seconds of video (or 1,440 five-second events) for as long as you like (no expiration). If you reach your storage limit, it will automatically delete the oldest clip in order to make room for the next one.
You are able to set clips to automatically delete based on a time limit. By default, this is set to 14 days, but you can also change that to 3 days, 7 days, 30 days, and 1 year. You are also able to manually delete clips at anytime and any important clips can also be saved to your mobile device at anytime by using the share feature on the clip within the clip roll folder of the APP.
A:AnswerNotifications are sent once the clip has successfully uploaded, any lag time would be caused by slow or weak WIFI/internet signal. You are able to access the live view on the camera at anytime. There is however a limit to continuous live view just to preserve battery life, currently this is set to 30 second intervals that can be continued for up to 5 minutes.
