Battery life will vary based on device settings, use, and environmental factors. Use of two-way talk will reduce battery life.

Depends on how often the cameras are triggered, how long they record, and how often you look at a live view. I just bought these so I'm not sure yet but I have a friend with these cameras and the batteries lasted 1 year before he had to change them.
