“1 camera of 2 goes off line , I remove the batteries and re install them , the camera goes back on line for a little bit then off again . Can I move the sync module closer to the camera or does it have to be right next to the wifi”

It doesn't have to be right next to the router. My router is in the living room and my sync module is in my bedroom. Just figure wherever you can go in your house and still have decent WiFi on your phone you can place the sync module there.

Please try again later.Assuming a fairly standard home (single building, no unusually dense construction materials), the Sync Module should be able to communicate with Blink units up to (and perhaps over) 100’ away in any direction. As far as how far away the system can be from your wireless router would depend on the strength/speed of your internet/WIFI we recommend at least three bars of signal strength
