The steelbook has a disc spindle that could house either the ps4 or xb1 disc, and also an additional piece of plastic holder to fit in the switch cartridge if needed.

I bought the PS4 version, but I HAD to order my game online because my store never got it but when I ordered it, it came with the steelbook and a little plastic sheet inside it if you have the Switch version

I bought the switch version and got the case. Heard about the poor quality of the switch version and was bummed out. Returned the game. Kept the case and bought the PS4 version. No hassle about returning the steel book. Try it out. Maybe they will let it slide for you too!
