• The phone is capable of being a hotspot, however your provider has to include that in whatever plan you are using. Most of the time that means you are paying $30 - $60 per month or more to whatever company you use. I am rambling so that my answer is long enough

• Ours is set up on Tracfone and it does allow the hotspot to be configured. I have not used it much, but it does appear to work fine, although I have read that Tracfone frowns on using it this way. I only enabled it enough to test and then disabled it. My wife has no use for that function.

• There is a hotspot setting so I assume it does. I have not put a sim card in the phone yet so I have not tried it.
