• Yup. I've occasionally plugged it in to a USB 3.0 ("SS") port on my desktop with no issues.

• Hello Bill. The SS port on your HP will work great for the Yeti Nano. The USB 3.0 doesn't give it any added benefits over using a USB 2.0 port (since the Yeti Nano is 2.0), but its not going to hurt anything.
