“I will be using this mic on a laptop but the built in speaker requires me to be directly in from of the laptop. Since I also have a piano playing in the background, will this mic cut our the mic on the laptop?”

• Yes when you use Yeti Mic as input device the laptop will not use built in microphone ( at a time only one input mic device would be selected).

• Hello, the Blue Yeti will replace the sound recording device on your laptop. If the Yeti is activated, the built in mic on the laptop will be disabled and vice versa.
