• It does have a carbon filter inside the hepa filter. I believe the only “upgrade” filter you can get is one that is hypoallergenic

• Power consumption is minimal. The order does include the particle and carbon filter, which must be replaced every six months. If you auto-order the company will send you the outside prefilters for 15% off. Prefiters are available both in woven and in a thin stretchy fabric. No offgassing on anything.

• Hi there, the power consumption range for the 211+ is 30 - 61 W. All of our purifiers come with their accompanying filters, which would be the 211+ Particle + Carbon filter for this model.
