I don't know, but can tell you that the loudest setting isn't bad at all. Quieter than most peoples stove hoods. The auto setting is extremely quiet and you probably won't notice it.

It operates at 23 dB (whisper quiet) on its lowest speed, and no louder than a 56 dB on its (rarely used) highest setting.
