“OK, "washable" filter... 100% washable (as in all elements) or does any filter component (carbon?) require replacement? How much does integrated spare filter assembly cost? 2nd filter assembly will be needed while washed 1st filter is drying completely.”

The device comes with a fabric that function as a pre-filter. The fabric obviously can be washed when it gets dirty. The main filter can't be washed. It has to be replaced.

This unit comes with two washable prefilters in diva blue and dark shadow so that you have a spare while one is being washed and an option for color choice. The particle plus carbon filter (with the carbon sheet) is not washable and recommended to be replaced every 6 months. We also offer additional colors for the prefilter on the accessories page at blueair.com.
