• I’m not sure that I understand your question. If you are asking about what the air purifiers response to smoke is…well the fan picks up the scent and it begins to speed up and by this time the blue light on the indicator is turning to yellow first, then red. The red indicates the air is polluted and the purifier is working at 100%. As the air quality resumes to normal so does the light… it turns to blue.

• I would say yes we actually use this in close proximity to our litter pan and the kitchen and it removes most smells from the air
