Does this protect against the spread of covid 19? null

Not sure about Covid but in the description it talks about regular colds and sinus allergies

Hi there, while some of our models have been tested against and proven to filter SARS-CoV-2, we have not yet tested any of our Blue Pure 411 models, and as such we cannot yet make this claim about this specific model. However, all of our purifiers use our patented HEPASilent™ technology, which captures at least 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns in size.
