• I have a runner with fringe on the ends and it gets caught up in the ends. So I move the rug.

• I use this in an area where I have two throw rugs. The vacuum goes up and down from these rugs without any issue.

• IT's fine unless the rug has fringe. I just fold the fringe underneath when Bob cleans.

• I don't think so. It did go into the bathroom and it went over the rugs. However, I'm so in love with this vacuum, I close the door so it won't go into the bath just to be safe.

• It does work with throw rugs although sometimes with the small rugs (like the ones that you wipe your feet on at the front door), it can get stuck. It works great with my big throw rug.
