“Does this TiVo work with all cable/ satellite providers ? TWC, direcTV etc, I don't want to buy it with my current provider then find out it won't work when I switch in a year.”

• Cable should be fine (as well as Verizon FIOS). It will not work with Direct TV.

• As far as I know it should work with all cable providers, and no satellite providers, but check with Tivo.com for details.
