Will this work with a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8 inch? null

The book cover for the Galaxy Tab A is 0.6 x 5.5 x 8.2 inches, which is close in size to the Tab S cover, but not identical, so it may work but it's not the same size, and some of the case clips may not line up.
