Call the LG company's product customer service and have them help resolve the issues. They are helpful, but be diligent and insist, be clear about problems, so they can give you the help necessary. Also, you do have to have your contract in place with the servicer for your phone, before turning your phone on the first time. You cannot connect properly without your service being turned on. I would recommend having your activation occur with help from LG customer service, if you are new to activating a prepaid phone, or any other cell phone.
