• I do know the timer goes down to 'zero' when the cycle ends, and then you will see the timer start blinking as an indicator. Only installed the unit a couple of days ago. Do not know about any audible alert as have not yet been in kitchen when cycle ended. It may say in user manual, but I have not yet studied it for all details. Will do that this weekend, as I need to explore optional settings. It seems to work fine, and is definitely quiet. Wife is pleased.

• Hi BArb, thank you for your question and interest in Model:SHEM3AY55N. This Dishwasher has the display on the front. When a wash cycle is selected the remaining wash cycle time is shown on the display.
