“I was told by an appliance place that all Bosch dishwashers have a plug and need a junction box? Is this correct? Thanks SHSM63W55N Dishwasher”

Hi Lola, thank you for your question. All Bosch Dishwashers, including Model:SHEM63W55N now include a Power Cord with a 3-prong plug. If you prefer to hardwire your dishwasher, you can order our Junction Box with Power Cord, #SMZPCJB1UC

My contractor hard wired it instead! It took longer and not all installers will do that!
