There is no alarm sound at the end of cycle. But there is a time remaining counter to tell you how much longer the cycle will take. You can also configure the dishwasher to shutdown (1) immediately at end of cycle (2) after two hour when cycle complete (3) don't shutdown at end of cycle. Option 2 gives you some idea of when the cycle is done.
