• Hi Jerry. Thank you for your question. Model #SHEM63W55N does not have a built-in water softener. We do have ADA Compatible Dishwashers with built-in water softeners. Model #SGE53X55UC and Model #SGE68X55UC both have built-in water softeners, recessed handles and are stainless steel.
