You can, but try not to....messes up your timing. Load it full and forget it while it runs. It is so quiet....this is easy to do.

Yes, you can open the door briefly and add something without needing to push the start button. If you take too long, you simply need to hit the start button to continue the cycle.

Yes, you can stop and open the door while running. Just hit the start button again before closing and it picks up where it left off in the cleaning process!
