We discovered ours was emitting a horrible smell. Called the Geek Squad for this and other issues. and discovered we had been sold a used 2013 model. When the repair guy disassembled it, the drain was full of human hair. It is a piece of junk, and they sold it to me as "new." It still stinks every-time we run it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be certain you clean the filter frequently if you do not pre-rinse. Run the water from your faucet until it's hot, then start the machine. Run a high temp cycle such as 'sanitize' or 'extra shine' a few times a week as part of your cycle. Occasionally use the dish of vinegar in the top rack technique described in the manual or possibly a Bosch RECOMMENDED disinfectant of some kind instead. If your loads sit for a few days before you wash, consider running the rinse cycle after a day or two. We have the same issue and these procedures keep it under control. If none of these work, go on the Bosch website or google it to see if other users have ideas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same concern about the smell too, but after a few washings the smell was no longer evident. I decided not to get the handle, because I didn't want my dishtowel on the ground.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have not had the water smell in the machine since it was installed. We got a model with an integrated handled and so far (only one month) everything is staying together.
