Some of the features are locked behind an app. There is also a requirement for a cloud account.

This means there is a possibility that there will be a monthly fee to use these features or the server will be shut down, disabling them.

This also means that you have to trust Bosch to have created a secure device, as insecure IOT devices are often used to gain access to people's home network.
