“Does this model need a flush mount deflector vent?. Will venting be a problem on lower corner and cause moisture damage on cabinet below?”

Hi there, thank you for your question. Per the Use and Care Manual for Model:HMD8451UC: During microwaving, steam may come from the right side of the vent.
