Do not modify the plug or use an adapter. If the plug does not fit with the available receptacle, have a licensed electrician install a properly grounded outlet before proceeding with the installation. The power cord length is approximately 46".

• A:Answer You don't take trim off. Very easy to install. slide the unit into the opening, plug in. open drawer/door. Now you will see 2 holes on left and 2 on right side. I suggest a pilot hole then use the screws that come with it to mount unit to your cabinet. See picture. Looks great works great.
