QuestionDoes this stick out in front of a 24" deep (normal base) cabinet? If so, how far? I don't understand why the cutout is smaller than the size of the drawer.

- Answer Depth is not a problem, the width is. There is no standard cab. for microwave drawer. But IMO, it's easier to install in 27" cab. Because fill is easier than cut. In fact the manual shows you can mount flush face with 27" cabinet. That's what I'm planning to do with mine. I'm remodeling my kitchen but have not yet ordered cabs. My Bosch is still in the box in the garage...hope this helps.

- Answer Yes it is power. On the panel selection there is an Open n' Close tap option, very simlpe to operate. Tap to open tap to close.

QuestionHow deep is the drawer? I've heard it's too shallow for certain types of dishes. I have a popcorn bowl that is 5" tall; will it fit in the drawer?

- Answer I just measured the depth of the drawer - it is just over seven inches deep. a five inch bowl would not be an issue.

- Answer No turntable. You just open it, place your item in the drawer and close it back up. Been using it about a month and no complaints from the family so far. I would recommend using a microwave Plate Cover.

- Answer Hi Kt, thank you for your question. Per the Installation Guide for Model:HMD8451UC This appliance is fitted with a 3-prong grounded electrical plug. Do not modify the plug or use an adapter. If the plug does not fit with the available receptacle, have a licensed electrician install a properly grounded outlet before proceeding with the installation. The power cord length is approximately 46".

- Answer The unit looks like a regular microwave but you pull out drawer and put things in from the top instead of opening door.

- Answer You don't take trim off. Very easy to install. slide the unit into the opening, plug in. open drawer/door. Now you will see 2 holes on left and 2 on right side. I suggest a pilot hole then use the screws that come with it to mount unit to your cabinet. See picture. Looks great works great.

- Answer Hi MMB. Thank you for your question. The HMD8451UC 800 Series Built-in Drawer Microwave vents in the front on the lower edge. It does not require a trim kit for installation.
