• Neither of the answers answered the question. OBVIOUSLY it's has convection and microwave features. BUT CAN YOU DO COMBINATION COOKING, using both SIMULTANEOUSLY?!

• Yes, this unit is convection/microwave combo. Haven't used it as a convection oven yet, but it works fabulous as a microwave. The end of cycle alert is simple: 4 beeps, then it goes silent with no further alerts. If you're not a forgetful person, you'll love this feature.
