Yes. Both will sound an alarm. If you have the app connected it will also display a notification with the detail of which door (freezer or fridge) is open.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The alarm is only for the top two doors. (At least that's been my experience). But the drawers have a "soft-close" feature so that if you push them closed far enough for them to appear closed (ie, can't see the light from the drawers and not obviously protruding), they self close the rest of the way. I like this unexpected feature. In fact, I am thoroughly enjoying all the many features of this refrigerator. Worth every cent! I definitely would not recommend a Samsung if you are considering one! They make great TVs, but the refrigerator was nothing but trouble from the very beginning. There is even a class-action lawsuit on the ice maker (for the model I owned). I had mine repaired after only a few months and it went out again, so we just bought ice for a year. Then I insisted they replace with newly designed ice maker and even that only lasted a few months and went out. I had it less than 5 years and the entire refrigerator went out twice, besides the trouble with the ice maker. This time it was the compressor. Not worth spending another cent on the piece of junk. Get the Bosch--no regrets!
