• I changed my water filter and when you open the dord, is the filter indicator supposed to mcome on?

• Yes there is an indicator when it is time to change the filter.

• Hi JulieD, thank you for your question. Yes there is an alarm to change the water filter. Per the Use and Care Manual: Change filter alarm: When the change filter alarm switches on, the change filter button lights up. The alarm is designed to switch on every 6 months but it may not always do so. It is recommended to change the water filter every 6 months. Note: An increase in ice and water consumption will cause the change filter alarm to be switched on earlier.
