I have the exact same configuration in my kitchen and have no issues opening the French doors or accessing the pull out drawer, inside the fridge, when both French doors are open.

A:AnswerThe manufacturer suggests not putting the ice scoop in the ice tray to allow for more ice to be delivered. I found that I can get by with putting the scoop in the ice tray and that allows slightly more room in the rest of that compartment. I also placed a large-cube ice tray in that same ice storage tray and it also takes up some space. So I have slightly less ice capacity. But like you, this is not a problem for me. I get more than enough ice.
