“can you use the beverage drawer for snacks (like yogurt / fruit / carrot sticks, etc) if you put it at the coolest setting? would be nice to store sparking water, coconut water, juice, and snacks vs wine / beer.”

We store seltzer, soda, and other cold beverages in here at a cooler temperature. It would be effective for those that you mentioned. It may work for some of the snacks as well, but would be limited by dimensions. I believe you can download the instruction manual online to understand the settings in depth.
