Hi there, thank you for your question. Bosch dishwashers only offer a heated dry cycle, however it’s not the standard heated dry cycle. All Bosch dishwashers use condensation drying, which is a safer, cleaner and more energy efficient process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model does have a drying cycle as well as an Extra Dry setting (which should be used with the Sanitize setting) to extend the drying cycle. It does dry the dishes very well except for a few glasses and other items that have a lip on the bottom. Water sometimes doesn't evaporate for these items. The key to best drying for this dishwasher is to let the dishwasher stay closed until the door is cold. Then you know that the dishes are as dry as they are going to get.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not have a heating coil at all. It uses evaporation/fans to dry the dishes. I can load plastics anywhere in the dishwasher without worrying about melting. It is very efficient.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Bosch is different than other washers in that it doesn't have a heating element in the washing area, it only has a water heater and its not in the same area where the dishes go. So by design, it can only air dry. Works great for us, just have to make sure to crack the door open a bit after it runs so it dries out thoroughly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this Bosch has an extra heat option. It uses a process to heat the entire box rather than the tradional heater coil at Thur bottom.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has air dry. No heat dry though it has a button for Extra Dry which may just be longer air dry. We use that quite a bit. Uses less energy I believe though there is still a little moisture on certain items at the end if the cycle, particularly plastic lids in the top tier. No heat element as some have that can melt plastic if it falls on it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
