Hi Yasmina, thanks for your question. Both the Heavy and Pots & Pans cycles are recommended to use for cleaning items with baked-on food or grease. These dishes would normally require soaking or hand scouring. During the Heavy and Pots & Pans cycles, the dishwasher uses higher temperatures and extra water to get rid of hard-to-clean stains.
