I have this one and I have no indicator that tells me the rinse aid needs to be refilled. The reservoir for the rinse aid makes us absolutely crazy - it is horrible. We try to pour it in and it runs out the back. For what the Bosch DW costs there should be a decent and easy way to put the rinseaid in. I wish I had bought an LG.

Also, you'll receive a notification in the App if you use the App. If you don't use Rinse Aid, you can set the Rinse Aid setting to 0 using either the App or through a program on the door panel and the rinse aid refill indicator will go off. As others have said, using the recommended rinse aid results in a mess when filling. But another brand's rinse aid, that also is a major mfg of detergents, has a bottle with a cap design that works much better with the Bosch.
